Renewable Energy

We have been investing in renewable energy infrastructure since 2002. Our distinctive and disciplined investment approach is founded on our understanding of the European energy sector.  With €380m under management focused on this sector we have built a successful track record and have to date realised 11 of our 36 investments returning significant amounts of capital to our investors.

Renewable energy is already an essential component of the European energy mix.  Over the next decade we believe that there will be sustained growth driven both by increasing demand and by government actions to mitigate climate change and energy security concerns.

Our principal focus is on wind, solar and biomass.  The projects we invest in use established technologies.  We can invest across Europe and have extensive business experience in multiple geographies.  We can invest at any stage from development through to operation.

Our team of 30 is led by 5 partners with 20 investment and technical professionals integrating engineering, operational, strategic and financial skills.  We have:

• Experience of managing the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects;

• Skills in structuring project contracts and financing;

• Strong relationships with technology suppliers, renewable energy developers and financing banks.

Our engineering firm, Entap, oversees the technical validation, construction and operation of our renewable energy projects.
